The Challenge

DOGHOUSE give pooches and their owners VIP treatment. Combining an eCommerce store with two high-end pet shops, each with a grooming salon and dog café.

They needed a program that enhanced their sense of community and made every customer feel valued. But with a presence online and in the real world, how could they create a seamless, successful loyalty experience?

The Solution

Clearer’s Influence.io worked with DOGHOUSE to create a cross-channel, community-focused and totally customizable loyalty program.

The key? Loyalty QR codes and smart integration with Apple and Google Wallets.

With the Shopify POS integration, in-store teams just scan a QR code to access a customer’s loyalty details, track every purchase and link straight to their online account.

In return, customers can earn and redeem rewards in-store and online. If they prefer not to use the Apple Wallet - like many of the older customers in the DOGHOUSE clientele – there’s a physical card linked to their loyalty profile.

When it comes to promoting the program, in-store word-of-mouth works alongside targeted widgets on the DOGHOUSE website. Full-page website widgets explain the loyalty features, while a pop-up widget tells the story and gives members easy access to their points balance.

 

But it’s not just the tech that’s special, it’s the personal touches. The program is fully branded, as customers are ‘welcomed to the pack’ and awarded ‘canine credits’. Making everything feel like a natural extension of the DOGHOUSE experience that shoppers know and love.

The Result

Within just one month of launching, 1,214 customers had signed up to the DOGHOUSE loyalty program. These shoppers were actively engaged too, with a redemption rate of 21% compared to the 15% average.

All from a seamless solution, delivered at pace, that knows just how to make customers feel as pampered as their pooches.
